Michael Kvasnicka is professor of economics at Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg, Germany. He received his BA at the University of Oxford, his M.Sc. at University College London, and his Ph.D. at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. He is affiliated with the RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research, a research fellow at IZA (Institute of Labor Economics), a member of the Standing Field Committee for Population Economics of the Verein für Socialpolitik, and initiator and founding chair person of the board of the Berlin Network of Labor Market Research (BeNA). His research interests include applied labor, population and health economics, and policy evaluation.
