
Prof. Dr. Michael Kvasnicka
Michael Kvasnicka is professor of economics at Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg. He received his BA at the University of Oxford, his M.Sc. at University College London, and his Ph.D. at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. From 2007 to 2013, he worked as a researcher at the Rheinisch-Westfälisches Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung (RWI). He is a research fellow at RWI and IZA and initiator of the Berlin Network of Labor Market Research (BeNA). His research interests include empirical labor, family, and population economics, as well as policy evaluation. His work has been published, among others, in the Economic Journal, the Journal of Health Economics, the Journal of International Economics, the Journal of Population Economics, and the Scandinavian Journal of Economics.
