Zharova, Dr. Alona, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin

  

Alona Zharova is a postdoctoral researcher at the chair of Information Systems at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (HU). In 2018 she finished her Ph.D. dissertation in “Statistical analysis of resource use and research performance of universities". Previously she worked as a Managing Director of the International Research Training Group 1792 "High Dimensional Nonstationary Time Series", HU (2017 – 2018) and as a Managing Director of the Collaborative Research Center 649 "Economic Risk", HU (2014 – 2016). She was also a researcher at the Ladislaus von Bortkiewicz Chair of Statistics, School of Business and Economics, HU (2014 – 2018). Prior to this she carried out a research on "Agent-based modelling in IT project management" at Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University. She earned her M.Sc. degree there in Management of Organisations (Manager-Economist) in 2011. Her current research focuses on measuring of research performance (scientometrics), natural language processing (NLP), internet of things (IoT).
